Advice on AV receiver

Prominent Member
I currently have a Sony DG820 amp and am looking to upgrade to a 3D capable AV receiver, Unfortunately not looking to spend loads, so either a used (4 Months) Pioneer VSX 921 or a new Sony DH820 both probably within £20 - £30 of each other.
Speaker wise until funds allow connecting to a set of Jamo A102HCS5 speakers & sub.
Will be connecting an LG 47LW650T 3DTV, PS3, ATV2, LG 3D Blu Ray & a Wii.
Any opinions on both of the above or an alternative, would prefer Amp to have pass through facility.

The 921 would deserve better speakers to get the best from it (but then so would the sony). If the 921 is in good condition and well looked after then that is probably the one I would go for out of the 2 since it is a better receiver for the same money. You may not get the full benefit now but when you upgrade your speakers hopefully you will get something to show it off then.
