I know no one probably has this, but out of love of collecting I would to own one of these players.

Just before I buy I want to know if any one had any issues with any specific models. I heard the Toshiba-A1 were pretty bad. Which models are solid?

how long have you used it?

Do you use it regularly or you switch it on once every 3 to 4 months?

I bought it from this site in May last year. Took a few months to get the system connected, so its probably be on since October and used about 2 times a month.

I have two A1s, XA1, XE1 and some EPs, no issues with any. The A1 and XA1 re great players only bettered by XE1 but there is something special about the battleship build. The lesser players were the EPs...but still reliable.

There is almost no XE1 listings on ebay. I can't believe these players are so rare.

The XE1 was a tasty bit of kit.
