Advice on 19-22" inch LCD for kitchen

Looking for a tv to go on the wall in the kitchen,

Anything between 19 and 22",
built in freeview and DVD.

Budget upto £250's,

any advice appreciated.

Cheers, looks good,

Is there a great deal of difference in the picture quality if I spent say another £100 e.g. max £350.

This Sharp set is superb - true 16:9 aspect ratio too (which is rare at this size): Sharp Aquos LC19D1E-BK. You can get it from John Lewis with a 5 year warranty for £199: Buy Sharp Aquos LC19D1E-BK HD Ready Digital Television, 19 Inch online at

And I'm fussy. My main TV is a Pioneer KURO, but I'm still amazed just how good this little set is for the kitchen.

Something to note too: these smaller LCD TV's do suffer from poor off-centre colours. In other words their viewing angle is quite narrow before things get very washed out. This Sharp set is far better than all the others I looked at on this front.

I have no hesitation is recommending this set.
