Hi, I'd like to archive some old slides and negs and hopefully be able to blow them up to at least A4 size at photo quality. Can sombody recommend a good film scanner at a reasonable price that'll be up to the task and where to buy it from.
Cheers.

Hi,
approx £200-£300
I've decided on a Minolta Dual Scan IV when they become available at amazon.co.uk £249. Bloody rip off Britain though as the US amazon has them listed at $285 (£158)! Such is life. If anybody else has any other recommendations though - please LMK.

Cheers

I'm also looking for a scanner at the moment,

Just found the Minolta Dual Scan IV for £239 incl.

Go to Digital Depot

Does anyone have any experience with Minolta scanners ?

Paul.

I actually use the Minolta Dimage scan 5400, progressed from a Nikon coolscan II, it is a cracking scanner and we have had no problems and seems to require very little tweaking when scanning trans and just a little more for negs.

Best regards David
