    Hi all
My kit list is as follows-
    Pioneer 507XD
    Sky HD
    PS3
    Onkyo 875
5X M1'S (on stands bar center)
    1X GSW12 Sub
I have been very happy with the sound quality from my set-up but feel i'm missing a little something from the center speaker.. i'm willing to look at alternative center speakers that would match my components and follow aesthetics of my other speakers. The sats are set to 80hz but after a little research on here will be inctreasing to 100hz and the sub 120hz. My room is 13'x12.5' with ceiling 10.5' and i usually listen on volume level -8 to -10Db for my blu-ray. On the 'Tone Control settings i have all sats +1 Bass and +2 Treble with -4db for my sub- not too sure what this is??
The questions i'm asking for advice on is as follows-
Would i benefit from another center speaker and if so wich one?
Do the settings i have selected appear optimum for my kit
    Any comments will be appreaciated.

    5x M1 speakers I assume?

    So is that -

    B&W M1
    Alesis M1
    Audio Pro M1
    Edifier M1
    or some other M1?

For the moment, I'm going to assume B&W M1 which is a very small speaker that can be horizontally or vertically mounted. And I'm assuming one of the M1's is the center speakers.

So, if your center is lacking, could you improve the sound by improving the center? Answer: Yes.

    The question is, which center?

And the answer to that gets a bit dicey, since it will be difficult to get an exact tonal match to the other speakers. Still, you can probably get by with a similar sounding speaker.

As to your settings, though I admit my knowledge in this are is limited, they seem reasonable.

Before we can comment on specific speakers, we would need to know your budget for the upgrade.

    Steve,
Thanks for the reply.. we are talking about the B&W M1's, My budget after selling my center will be £200 maximum and after watching The Hulk 2008 with DTS Master audio i'm now mre convinced than ever that it's just the center letting it down. Any advice will be very welcome:)
    Regards.
