Advice needed

    Have Loewe Aventos ZW3971 32in TV and Toshiba SD340E DVD player. Advice needed on AV Receiver and Compact Speakers to complete system. Budget upto £750.

    try something like the Yamaha 750SE, or the denon 2105 for an amp. Maybe a MS avante premiere speaker package. if you shop about you should get them in your budget.
    Search through some websites to find some speakers packages you like, there some cracking bargains about. And check out a magazine like what hifi awrds issue for ideas too. The yamaha is clear and dynamic, or the denon is warmer and balanced. I just spent 2 hours demoing those 2 and chose the yam myself.

    Worth looking at are the Tannoy FX5.1 system at www.petertyson.co.uk . Very good retailers with good customer service:smashin: and also the bargain Marantz sr5400 OSE for £269 almost half price amp. Both are only available in Black though.

    If you can find an older MS premeire plus system they are also superb speakers with a superb sub. The above mentioned Yamaha and denon are also superb amps and should be looked at.
