Advice needed with Lexicon DC-1

Got hold of a Lexicon DC-1 its software version 2.01. Can anyone tell me whats the differance between this and a version 4 DC-2.
Would it be worth the hassle changing or hang on till i can afford an MC-1. Any help/info would be appreciated.

The main differences between the DC1 + 2 are that the DC2 has a couple more s-vid and digital connections and 24 bit dacs instead of 20bit but there's neglible difference in sound quality.

I'm not sure about the version 2.01 software but the v4 gives you dts ex, dd ex and improved logic 7. You should be able to find out more on their website in the faq's.
