Hi Guys...hope you can help me with this as I’m struggling to get my head around things.
I’ve had my Panasonic Viera TH42PZ80B 42” for 10years now and while I love it, am thinking it may be time to upgrade to a 4K Tv.
Viewing distance is between 2.2-2.4m so it’s quite a small living room. Would love a 49” or 50” but that may be too big?
I’ve Sky HD, Panasonic Blu Ray Player and a LG NB3520A Soundbar that are both a few years old so the plan may be to upgrade the Soundbar later in the year.
I bought the plasma because I mainly watching Films and Sport in HD and so far it has been great. I have a PS4 which I also play occasionally. I tend to avoid watching anything in SD.
Am tempted to upgrade to get a better HD/4K experiences but without losing the great viewing picture that I currently have. It’s also a pain as I have to connect to Netflix via my blu ray player and the iPlayer via the Sky box to have the sound coming through the Soundbar. Unfortunately my Amazon Fire stick won’t play via the Soundbar as it’s connected through my TV’s HDMI connection and the Soundbar only has 2 inputs (Sky and the TV).
Final consideration is that I’d like the tv to have Bluetooth. I live in an apartment so am conscious not to disturb the neighbours so would like it to connect to my headphones of possible.
So the question is (a) Should I Upgragpde and (b) what size and TV would you reccomend? Budget is about £750.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers and thanks for reading!
