The company I work for has shut down an office and was about to throw out a Sony VPL-X600 projector.

Rather than see this go to waste I am thinking about making an offer for it. any ideas how much it would be worth ??

It was used in the Head Office for a running video wall so the lamp may need replacing soon. Just looking for what anyone thinks would be a fair price.

Cheers

If they were going to throw it out then £1 would be more than what they'd have got ;) , or you could have stood by the skip and saved yourself a quid :suicide:

The Sony was a business projector from about 4+ years ago. Brightness was 600 ANSI.

A new lamp will cost the best part of £400~£450. If the projector works fine then I'd bid them £100. If the offer seems low then just remember that for just a little more you can buy an ex-dem Pana AE100 which is just as bright, has a true w/s display and would come with a warranty.
