advice needed re speaker heights

hi,
I am at the stage where the builder is about to plaster the lounge where I have had wiring placed for a 6.1 surround sound system.
I currently have the front speakers at 105 cm (ear level) at 60 cms in from the corners and the rear speakers will be at 185cm (head height), one to the left, one to the right and one in the centre behind the sofa.
can someone just reassure me that this is about right - I have done my research but just need to be sure before plastering!!
many thanks

The positioning of the rear speakers is partly dependant on what speakers you have as the positioning for bipoles could be different to that of direct radiating speakers.

The room dimensions would also be useful together with the positions of all speakers relative to the seating position.
