Advice needed on which TV & Freeview

Standard Member
Hi guys,
I'm looking to buy a new TV for my disabled son.
He has partial vision so needs a decent picture.
Two questions really.
1) I'm looking at LG TV's and am confused by the model numbers. I have no idea if one model is very old and on offer to get rid, they are 'similar' specs.
2) Will a current 1080p TV with freeview, get freeview HD when it is transmitted in spring, or is the built in freeview tuner not capable of getting HD on its own?
I'm looking at
LG 32LF2500 at Argos £379
LG 32LH4000 at Amazon £399
Hope you can advise.
