    :hiya:

What connection boards / cards do I need?

    Equipment.

Denon DVD-2910. (Recommend DVI direct to plasma?)
    Marantz SR-4500 AV Amp
    Panasonic standard Sky Digibox.

Before I order the screen, I could do with some advice on what will give me the best PQ.

    Appreciate your help.

I'm in a similar situation myself. I was going to get a component board, as well as the scart board (which comes with it).

Hornydragon, you mentioned JS RGB>VGA. I've seen this mentioned a few times but am not exactly sure what it does. Any chance you could enlighten me? Thanks

    Hi

Sorry to jump in but with the JS RGB>VGA can you then add say a Quattro scart switcher box to the JS RGB>VGA to enable multiple RBG signals

    Many thanks

if you are using the VGA input on the panel already yes, if no no (all panny panels come with 1 15 pin -SUB (VGA) connection as well as terminal board options

MAny people use the Quinttro idea successful (BOX only works with RGB) so not alll in/outs on Quintrro can be used ( VCR one wont work IIRC)

Cool. I won't be using the VGA input for anything else, so it shouldn't be a problem.

I don't think I'll need the Quintro, as I have the Pioneer 501 Amp which has 4 Scart connections and the way I'm using it now is kind of like a scart switcher (I think). Hopefully if this same technique works with the PW7 it should all run smoothly through that.

Thanks again HD, much appreciated ;)
