    Hi all. :)

I've recently acquired a 2nd-hand Denon AVC-A1D and was wondering if my Pioneer DV626D does it really justice.
Would changing it for one of the numerous low/mid budget "DVD-A/SACD" improve the performance of my system (the Pioneer 565A comes to mind).
My two main criteria are perceived video and audio (2ch) quality.
Hard to describe what video improvement I'm looking for, but as far as audio is concerned, the usual hi-fi superlative apply:
better soundstaging, clean treble, controlled bass, more depth, more "analytic" without "being cold/dry".... :D

I'm not worried about DD/DTS performance as long as it's as good as the DV626D (the decoding would be handled by the Denon), and the DVD-Audio and SACD abilities would be the icing on the cake.

    Thanks in advance. :smashin:
