There are two centre speakers I can go for to match my 926 fronts, the CC900 and the CC901 @ £750 and £1250 respectively.

The obvious choice is the CC901 as it is 3-way and has the same size drivers as my fronts. The problem is simply the price. Even after haggling that's a hell of a lot for one speaker, the CC900 is much more agreeable. The only thing that really concerns me is max power, 150W on the CC900, recommended amp of 30-125W. It would be driven by the spare channel on my Parasound (5x140W).

How much of a difference would it make going for the CC901 rather than the CC900? I suppose it's a bit like the HTM2 vs HTM1.

    Any advice/insights appreciated.
