After buying a Philips DVDQ40 that decides to freeze and skip at will, I have decided to get a refund and buy another dvd player. The trouble is that I need help!

The budget is about £180.00, I have a Philips 28PW6515 Widescreen televsion, i will connect to via RGB Scart. I am waiting for the groans but it will be connected it to a Bose Lifesyle system via analogue connection for audio.

I'm looking at the Toshibas especially the SD420E? What do you think? Any advice or other recommendations. Will an internal 5.1 decoder give me better sound quality? Please help.....

The internal 5.1 decoder will only be useful if you have a 5.1 input to use it with, otherwise may as well buy the cheaper Toshiba SD-220E.
