PLEASE can anyone help me! I need advice on recording gigs for my friends rock band using a Mini DV Camcorder, As I live in an area where the nearest film/camera club is approx 15-20 miles away & dont have my own transport (I am disabled and cannot drive) I cannot get advice locally.

I am using a Canon MV600I Camcorder With a Sony HVL20DM VIDEO LIGHT & will hope fully soon be purchasing a good quality stereo microphone also for this use.

The Band are lit from above, side lit & also backlite, Can anyone give me some good advice to help me get the best footage from this equipment?

The recordings are for tour warm up gigs for band use to monitor stage performances & also hopefully will be used as VIEW ONLY mpeg clips on the bands web site IE: Any help is gratefully received many thanks for any advice given from a grateful Kevin Deegan in kidsgrove stoke-on-trent.HTTP://WWW.THE-DEMON.COM
