Firstly I am a newbie to home cinema and my only previous experience was a basic projector set up with in a spare room in my previous house. We have now moved and which has two garages and the deal was that if we bought this house then I could convert one of the garages into a home cinema room!!
One garage is attached to the side of the house, dimensions 8,10" x 21' and the other is a detached garage at the rear of the property, dimensions 12' x 20'. Both would be a blank canvas. The one attached to the side of the house could be extended length ways to approx 26'. Do you think that the attached garage is too narrow to install a projector and screen?
If I did convert the attached garage I could install a down stairs toilet and a small bar. Well at least that's the thinking so far.
I also need advice on which would be the best option to convert as well as advice on the best method for sound proofing.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
