I have a Canon 100D SLR and I would like to get a telephoto zoom without spending more than around £200.

I was thinking of something around 50mm to 250mm but I would consider any other sizes. I am not after the worlds best, just something that will take good pictures and is reliable.

Does anyone have any recommendations (or maybe second hand and where to look)

Or a 2nd hand Tamron 70-300 VC or Canon EF 70-300 mm f/4-5.6 IS II USM if you can find one within your price budget. Canon 70-200 F4 L would be the best lens but I'd think it unlikely you'ld be able to get a decent 2nd hand one for your budget.

I have an old Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 but it’s out of your price range. Maybe worth looking for one as it does give excellent results and are built like tanks.
