Advice/Help Needed - DVD player purchase

Hi guys,

I know there must’ve been a million of these threads by now, I’ve had a search and can’t really find the answer to what I’m after.

I was hoping for a bit of advice over which current DVD player on the market would best suit my needs, basically I’ve got a 37” Samsung plasma TV and want a decent but cheap dvd player to go with it. I’ve got a PS3 so was ideally looking for something that will:

Play divx movies AVI files, MPEG4 etc
Region unlocked, or easy to unlock
Up scale to 1080

My budget is ideally around £60, but could go to £75 if it’s worth investing the extra.

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!

For that money the PS3 will probably do a better job (apart from being region free )
