I'm looking for a wee home cinema set up to please the wife in the new house.

Advice??

These three seem ok, any experience with them? Any other 'dinky' AV 5.1 sets to throw into the mix??

The smaller the speaker, the more they're compromised, unless you throw a hell of a lot of money at them. The Bose work well for those that want discreet home cinema, and with the V series systems they can now enjoy that in HD. Alternatively, the Monitor Audio Radius R45HD satellite speakers are a higher quality alternative, with 5 different sized and shaped siblings to upgrade to as and when the user feels. The R90HD's are highly recommended over the 45's, but if size is the ultimate issue, the 45's will do a great job. The MA Radius HD range are priced as pairs, except the floorstanding R270HD's.
