Got a Panasonic E65 and am pretty pleased with it, but wanted to know if there's a hack for advert skip?

Also, why is there not more of a public fuss about non-skippable adverts? Seems to me that if I've paid for the DVD then I shouldn't be forced to watch adverts. It feels as though this practice should be made illegal. If not, it's the strongest motivation (for me, at least) to decrypt and reburn the DVD as I want it.

Ive only ever seen adverts on ex-rental DVDs but if you use the skip button you will get to the main menu eventually ;)

I thought I'd read somewhere that if you press the play button with the disc tray open, dvd players bypass menu's etc and play the main movie straight away!

    It's worth a try!

Sad to say its not just rental movies anymore.

I got the day after tomorrow for crimbo and that has ads on it. Also says on box 'not for rental'.
