advent vega email problem

I am trying to add my hotmail email account - it seems a very simple process but it wont work - i keep getting the message - unable to connect to server. I can use the email via the web and MSN - why can't I get it to work as an email account? anyone got any ideas, or had this problem?

got same problem, although I did have it working earlier this year. spent money on telephone support - but after 20minutes he said he could not think of anything else to try, so I have drawn a blank. tablet not yet a year old, but i am told the software is not warranted!! I am stuck

It's hard to suggest a solution without knowing what's wrong beyond the fact that it doesn't work and gives a generic error message.

Which process are you following and what server are you trying to connect to?
