If adult entertainment is your thing then i would suggest looking elsewhere.Remember that $ly still have to adhere to brodcasting restrictions and porn will be pretty tame ( or so i've been informed). There are other satallites to aim at that will probabally be more suited to your veiwing tastes.

You will need a dish aimed at 19:2 degrees east, digital receiver with built in cam or cam slots and a viewing card. Approx £400

At the risk of providing a useful reply to an Adult Entertainment question on these forums, here goes...

I've only had the Adult Channel, so I can't comment on the others. Lynx is right, there's no hardcore sex shown, but it's as hardcore as they can get away with. (and often poorly edited, nudge, nudge :) ) I imagine all the other Adult channels are similar in their content.

With Playboy/Adult, you get Playboy TV from 8PM to 11PM, then the Adult channel kicks in until 5:30AM. They are usually pretty good with new programming, but since they increased their broadcasting time (now 6 1/2 hours for Adult Channel), they have inevitably been showing more repeats.

With the Adult Channel, you can always choose the one-night option to see what it's like. But, considering the price, it's much cheaper to sign up for a month, then cancel your subscription. (Monthly, it's about £7.99, which is about the same as 2 nightly orders)

I got the Adult Channel on Box office last Fri. I was vey dissapionted!, It was like watching Channel 5 or Men & Motors!

I dont know about the others, but i would save you money and buy a good dvd from somewhere! (ask if you want to know more)

The editing was just pants.

Only good if you like watching tits!

Okay apologies for being a newbie on this,, But I've only got the standard dish that Sky provided on installation. Plus a Pace2500.. In a nutshell what extra equipment do I need to pick up a german / swede porn channell and ? Also is it allowed ? If not do I need to know someone in one of those countrys so that I can pay by credit card ?

It has to be said JoeUK, I admire your balls in posting this request.

Prior to getting Sky I bought a couple of mags....satellite mags. What Satellite seemed to be full of adverts for adult channels and loads of info on the wider world of satellite. Until I bought this mag I hadnt realised there was a route to becomming a professional couch potato. It opened my eyes to the fact that upgradeitis exists in anything technical. As a newcomer to satellite it was easy to follow and had I been tempted had enough info on what I needed to do to get access to other satellites and other channels.

You will need an 80cm dish, a universal lnb , and a digital satellite reciever with built in viacsess or a cam slot and a cam . The channels you are interested in can be found on 13 and 19 degrees east. Lots of companys will supply you with an official viewing card if you look in what satellite/ better satellite.

Wouldn't going to a sex shop be a lot easier?

Hmm! I must try going to a TV shop and asking for sex!

Just out of interest, people seem to be mentioning cams.......are these 'camera's' or is this a technical term?

I used to have a 1m dish with a motor attached with Nokia control boxes (this was five years ago), has satellite tv come on that much since i went on to cable?

I apologise for the thick question:rolleyes:

Conditional Access Module (CAM)
Basically a piece of hardware that contains the encryption system which can then be used in any compatible satellite reciever.
So you buy your FTA digital reciever which will be far more versatile than a SKY digibox then buy what ever CAM that contains the encryption of the channel you want and purchase a smartcard for the channel and you are away.

If you want to know more, do a google search for my name as a phrase ("chris muriel".
Most hits will be sites which contain my dig satellite FAQ
(digfaq.zip).
Although it could do with an update, all the basics are there.

hmm......

minors can also access www.google.com and type in the word "porn"

when my 18 month old daughter grows up she wont be allowed on the net unsupervised until she's 16 ... simple as that.

You agree to the site terms and conditions when you sign up.
Google is irrelevant in this context.

I must admit to being, no I can't put it like that..... er... drawn in to this thread by the racy title. Never seen it, satellite or cable, you can't exactly fall over it on the internet. Don't worry about your young daughter, my son saw one site's front page and thought it was so 'yucky' he didn't use the net for a month! He couldn't close it fast enough. I have on my hard drive a very comic film about a dodgy email and animals, no it's not ponographic at all, just killingly funny. Don't go there on the net, it could happen to you! PM me for the film, laugh, as long as it's not you!

Edit: Fim is 48 Mb divx, and I repeat, is NOT a porn movie, and would have a PG rating apart from the subject..

You dont need to type porn.

I was with my then fiance looking up "wedding ring". It was an eye opener that ring brought back so many hits!!!
