Is there any way of capturing all the clips on a tape (maybe 40) into premiere automatically, like you can do in studio 7. At the moment i am doing a batch capture and have to select and name etc. each clip individually which is taking ages to get the clips into premiere before i can even start editing.

In studio 7 it automatically captures each clip based on time and date of each recording, giving me all my separate clips in just one long capture from tape.

Hope this makes sense and someone can help.

    Hi

I don't think premier has automatic scene detection

Can't you reuse the Studio 7 clips in Premiere?

If capturing DV there is a program at this site

Studio captures to one large avi file and then has an config file that goes with it to differentiate between scenes, so that would not work. I will have a look scenalyzer,

    cheers.
