Admitted Plasma Noob - A few questions - Panansonic TH-42PX77U

Hi all
I'm new to the forum and just had a few quick questions. After much research, I finally got my Plasma. http://http://reviews.cnet.com/flat-panel-and-plasma/panasonic-th-42px77u/4505-6482_7-32317315.html?tag=prod.txt.1
With my limited budget and small viewing area, I decided that 42 in was suitable, and because of high ambient light, this seemed like the best choice. I decided not to go with 1080p because it seems wasteful with a 42 in. I realize that this TV also only natively broadcasts in 720p, but again, with a 42 I didn't think I'd be able to discern the difference b/w 1080i and 720p.

Did I make a good choice? I think the image is brilliant (surprisingly in 480i full screen).

Additionally, are there any tips specifically for this display to reduce the change of burn in?

Thanks in advance

You live in North America I guess? Over here your model is called the TH42PX700, and although there is a thread (or two) dedicated to this plasma, relatively few Brits bought one. Two reasons: Panasonic did NOT put the anti-glare coating on the UK 700 model; and the price difference compared to the PX70 (or PX75 to you) was too high.

Still, have a search for the PX700 thread - it shouldn't be too many pages down, if it's not on page 1 - and ask more specific questions in there.
