    Hi,
Just wondering if its possible to add another pair of di-pole rears to an existing 5.1 setup. Is there a way to wire them in to the present pair? or would that present too much load for the amp (sony str-db930)?

Surely the load would increase, though it depends mainly on the impedance of the speakers used.
If they are all identical (which I highly recommend) and have an impedance of 8Ohm each I would not see a problem ....
    Wire in parallel only.

If wired in parallel the overall load per channel would be 4ohms, if in series then 16ohms; (assuming a nominal 8ohm design). 4 ohms is more likely to cause an amp to clip due to increased current demand.

The speakers specify 4-8 ohms? I guess that means in Parallel they will be 2-4 ohms and in series 8-16 ohms....so which way should I go?
