I've got Sky Digital, and being a self-professed TV junkie, I'm already starting to get bored with my large selection of channels.

I've seen several lists of additional channels that you can tune into your digibox through the Add Channel menu. It seems as most of these are just local affiliates for channels I've already got, so that really doesn't appeal to me.

My question is, are there any channels out there that you guys recommend? I'd like to find a few decent foreign channels, but frankly, any non-news, non-test pattern channels would be worth checking out, in my opinion.

Have a look at Wild Pete's site at http://www.wildsat.com/astra.htm#manual
Pete has an interesting life as he seems to spend it scanning the airwaves looking for new channels such as 14 11973V which is the transponder number and frequency of "Audio Channel - Silent

The one thing missing from most our our lives is a silent audio channel and if successful I am sure that Rupert Murdoch will buy it up and add it to his "Pay per Listen" package.

He could at least slap a logo on it so we know what we're not watching.

Well, sometimes audio channels can be a bit distracting, and you want something a little quieter.

So, what could be more quiet than "Audio Channel - Silent"? :D

Silence is only the absence of noise. For a real buzz you'd need a channel transmitted with anti-noise - where the speakers actually suck any low level ambient background sounds into a kind of audio black hole.

    :D

I'm lost for words, and that doesn't happen very often.
