Recently I have been preparing all my equipment for the arrival of a new TV. While removing various cables, I realised that it may very well be possible to hook up my old video recorder. While as a rule this would be quite useless with the baby, it means that watching some of the old Disney Videos could keep her occupied (and saves me having to buy them all again on DVD)

I have connected the coaxial cable from video out (on video) to video in (on Tosh DVD Recorder) however, none of the channels on the tosh seem to show what is playing on the video.

Do I need to tune in the tosh at all?

    Thanks

If your new TV has 2 scarts then connect the Toshiba to AV1 on the TV and the VCR to AV2 on the TV.
