Hi,
I currently have a slightly strange setup with rears mounted on the ceiling and no surrounds (the room is about 6m x 3m):

Front: Ruark Epilogue
Centre: Ruark Dialogue 1
Rear: JBL Control One
Sub: Tannoy EFX 5.1

I've just upgraded my receiver to a Denon AVR-X2300, and I'd like to add in surrounds.

I've got a pair of Tannoy EFX 5.1 surround speakers, but they seem a bit puny compared with the rest of the setup (though I've not tried them yet as I've not sorted out the cable run).

Can anyone recommend some surround speakers to match this system? I figure my basic options are:
- Use the Tannoy surrounds
- Get another pair of JBL Control Ones to match the rears
- Something else?!

Thanks,

Lee

Are you going for 7.1?

I'd look into dipoles for surrounds. These tend to provide a lot of air and ambience well needed to soundtracks, particularly in smaller rooms or where the listener to the extreme side of the room would end up w. ear close to the surround.

Thanks, I'll have a look
