My wife is in mourning at the loss of her beloved Fashion TV channel.

I got all the technical info off the Fashion TV website to try to add it manually but found that I can't change the frequency on the "Add Channel" option.

    Anybody have any suggestions?

The Sky technical advisors seemed to think I wouldn't be able to do it and so far they appear to be correct!

    Thank you very much.

Well, in the "Add Channel" section you change the frequency by typing it into the remote, but without the decimal point, so for 11.623, you type 11623.

However, although the channel is supposed to be on 11.623 H polarization, it's not there - just a blue screen. If you visit Lyngsat you will notice that Fashion TV has recently left several other satellites too. Financial difficulties ?

Thank you Nick, you got me a lot further than Sky did. I tried to change
the freqency with the arrow keys!!

I managed to find Fashion TV with the FEC set at 2/3 instead of 3/4 but when I selected it, it didn't appear in any of the listing so I couldn't even get to see the blue screen!! Thank you anyway. Should I want to adding channels in future you've helped me on my way.

    Thanks again.
