Having recorded TV shows on my DVD recorder and edited out the adverts etc (using DVD shrink) I would now like to add these programs, with menus to a 'compilation' DVD where I can select an episode of the program to watch rather than having to fast forward my way through the whole lot.

Also I plan to compress these files so I can get 4 x episodes per disk (episodes were originally 1 hour long edited to ~42mins). As this is for a pesonal archive I would take speed (and ease of use!) over quality.

What is the best/most user friendly software available, is there any freeware that can do a job?

    Many thanks in advance....

You'll need something like DVD-lab Pro to do this.
