HI GUYS. I HAVE "MONITOR AUDIO BRONZE 3" FLOORSTANDERS AND CENTRE SPEAKERS, WITH "REVOLVER" REAR SPEAKERS. I WOULD LIKE TO ADD A SUB BUT AM ON A TIGHT BUDGET. MY CHOSEN SUB WOULD BE THE "REL QUAKE" BUT IT IS TOO DEAR. RICHER SOUNDS HAVE A FEW SUBS AT AROUND £100 SUCH AS: ELTAX SUB 100; ELTAX SYMPHONY SUB 100; ELTAX SUB 8; AND GALE MOVIESTAR SUB 7. ARE THEY WORTH MY MONEY? IF SO, WHICH IS THE BEST FOR ME TO GO FOR?

Gale I don't know about but the Eltax seemed quite poorly made to me and sounded like a cheap Sony hifi. I am considering selling my Yamaha sub (it's almost new) as I'm looking at a Velodyne. To keep within the rules, if you post a wanted thread and PM me the URL I will post some details.

Please note, this is NOT a for sale thread, I am simply stating that I would consider selling my sub.

    At around a £100 ... you're best bet is something second hand - probably a Paradigm PDR8 or PDR10.

hamtaro ... I think to be fair you need to point out that a VX10 from uncle eric is £200 (well was last time I looked - sorry if price has changed)

hey my Eltax subwoofer works fine! Tested it against my freinds 150watt Wharfedale Topaz and we both agree that the Sub12R sounds better:)
