hi guys i have a slight problem with my mordaunt short ms409w and ive found its a common problem... well in my case the power works fine with blue light on the front displayed however.. sometimes sound plays through it then others it doesnt and the connections are perfect and the amp settings are fine im just wandering is it a fuse problem or will it cost me a sod to fix it..?

Another question what Hz would you guys recommend for my sub 50 or 200 hz or something in between? im mostly playing movies or videogames such as cod5 with explosions etc

any response is greatly appreaciated. :D

thanks, luke.

For the sub to work all the time the other speakers need to set to small. Cross-over needs to be set at the amp and Sub and for small speakers it normal is 120Hz.

The LFE or crossover does NOT produce more Bass or less Bass. If the setting on the SUB is the same as the AV amp (120Hz) then ALL frequencies above 120 go to the surround speakers the rest to the SUB.
The Sub should have a volume control or increase the dB in the AV amp.
