Which is the best DVD HDD Recorder for editing out the ads without leaving flash frames.

I am looking at Panny E85 or the Pioneer DVR520h.

I have read tha tthe JVC DCM H20 has the odd flash flame and so does the Tosh x32. (is that true).

I do not want to have to re-cut the DVD on my PC as it takes so long!.
Just want something that will do the job!.And play back on my Phillips DVP520.

Please would someone confirm the following: Pioneer 520 can record to the HDD from DVD while the Panny E85 will not.

Finally will a PC Rom drive read from a RW (not ram).
