Does anyone know or could recommend an active sub woofer (silver) to fit on my Panasonic SA-XR30?

I have a set of surrond speakers including Sub woofer but its a passive type  Although I've tried plugging it in...nothing.

I know Panasonic (as my Viera TV,Amp and DVD recorder are all Panasonic) make speakers sets but do they sell a sub woofer separately?

    Hope someone can help, thanks

You have to connect a passive sub with speaker cable from the amp and then fromt the sub to your front speakers as its the main amp that drives it. You didnt say how you plugged it in so sorry if im making you suck eggs here.

As for a suggestion to get would be the Mordaunt short 309 for approx £225.

Thanks DFour, my amp only has active sub woofer out and the sub I have is just passive and I don't have another amp so maybe I'll get a new active sub woofer or just buy a Panasonic speaker bundle (maybe SB-TP20) as this looks a cheaper option.
