I want to get an S-vhs output from my Philips DVD 701 but am not sure how to do this. Use menus dont mention this option but the techie part of the manual suggests that s-vhs is supported. Any thoughs guys?

If its not in the menus I wouldn't have thought it would have it. Although I do know of a JVC model that you have to press buttons together on the dvd player to toggle between RGB and s-video output from the scart socket.

Thanks for the reply. Of course the sneaky Philips manual could be covering more models in the range than just mine.....there is a 710 as well.......although the manual just mentions the 701.
