My brother has the Wharefdale 19" lcd from argos - costs the same (£199) but has better constrast ratio than the Acoustic (800:1 compared to 450:1), better brightness (300cd/m2 - 250cd/m2) and also has HDMI & Component whereas the Acoustic has just Component. I think you can figure out where Im going with this............

Like I say my brother has the Wharfedale and I've seen it running SD Sky+, Xbox360 via Component and HDMI and from what I saw its very good quality for the price. Hope that helps!

    Ok thanks.
So you're talking about this tv

    http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5291917.htm

Theres just one catch with that tv that I can see though.
The resolution is 1440 by 900 which is 16:10 resolution so I heard that with that resolution on the xbox 360 you get a slightly stretched picture or else big borders am I right?

Does there be stretching when the xbox 360 is set to 720p via component or 1080i on this tv?

    I dont know I could be wrong.
