    Have you bought the kit with or without the decoder?

    What other electronics do you have?

    Assuming your TV has 3 scarts ...

    SCART1 DVD player --> TV
    SCART2 VCR --> TV
    SCART3 SKY --> TV (setting to output SVideo)

    plus SCART cable from VCR --> Sky if you want to record.

    Then for audio ...
    1 stereo pair from audio out on TV to Aego decoder.
    1 digital co-ax (and 75ohm video cable is fine) fromt DVD to decoder.

    Should have you sorted for sound from everything.

    Well it was stated that bellchops has a grundig box which does have S Video ... and while it's probably not going to give the ultimate best quality possible, it is convinent.

    Other alternative is of course
    Sky --> DVD --> TV
    if the DVD player has 2 SCARTS and passes RGB through.
