I am a novice as far as DLP projectors are concerned. I just bought an Acer PD113P projector, based on price and a brief review seen in a PC magazine, which gave it a reasonable write up. I have experienced a phenomenon which, correct me if I am wrong, could be called ghosting. In darker or poorly lit scenes from a DVD, you get quite noticeable, lingering after images from the brighter moving subjects in the picture, which can be quite distracting. Could this be a fault, or more likely a characteristic of a cheaper projector? If so, serves me right for penny pinching, and not doing my homework properly.

After searching and reading I now believe the condition is commonly known as 'Clay Face' or Temporal Dithering. Does anyone know if this can be minimised or is it inherent in the Pj and I have to live with it, (or spend more and get a better Pj.)
