Hi,

The Acer Idea 510 (MCE 2005) does not support a native 1360x768 or 1368x768 resolution via HDMI.

I have tried allsorts to make this work, has anyone else managed to get this working?

Will an upgrade to Vista resolve?

The unit uses a nVidia GeForce Go 7600 video adapter. 1280x720 is supported but not 1360x768.

After searching i have still found no answer to this problem.

Regards,

I will find out in the next day or so, i just got a 510, and have stuck vista on it. Will hook it up via hdmi to my pioneer pdp507 which does 1366x768.
Probably get around to it over the weekend.

Installed my 510 today, with vista on it, i can not get 1360x768 to display via hdmi either. The display settings picked up the tv saying pdpxxxx - but no matter what the resolution i wanted was not an option. I have the same graphice adapter as you. Used the DVi-VGA and that was fine.
