Hello,
I'm new to the projector world, but thought it was time I got involved . I've recently purchased a Acer H6517ABD and i'm unsure what kind of screen I need to project it onto. I've had a look around and there are soo many varieties.
Details on the projector:
Product Type DLP
ANSI lumens 3400
ANSI lumens (eco) 2700 ANSI lumens
Resolution 1920 x 1080 HDTV
Format 16:9
Contrast 20000 : 1
To be honest, this means nothing to me.
I'm just aiming to go for a fixed screen, so only needing to to purchase some kind of fabric. I was told depending on the lighting in my room, I should use either White or Grey sheet
Here are some pic of the lightning in my room, since I'm unsure how you call dark/medium lightning:
Lighting with blinds/curtains open (Sunny day)
With blinds only closed
Blinds and Blackout curtains.
I view my system most of the time with the curtains closed, but every now and then I like to let a bit of light in. I'm just looking on a bit of insight on what I should be looking for and whether there is much difference between white and grey fabrics.
Any information would be well appreciated,
Thanks, Stephen
