So I've been looking at these two monitors for my PS3. From what I've read the Acer is a great monitor for the price and has very good specs. The Samsung is quite new hence the lack of review material on it. I have read two reviews translated from Chinese and they were extremely impressed with it. Like the Acer, the Samsung also has great specs.

The Acer is 23" and the Samsung is 24". I'm in Holland and the following are the cheapest prices I can get them for. I noticed the dot and pixel pitch on the Acer is .248 mm and the Samsung is .265 mm, does that make a big difference?

Which one do you think I should go for?

Acer = 180 euro - Samsung = 215 euro

That's a difficult one to call, but I'd go for the Samsung. This is just a gut-feeling, based on the assumption that Samsung generally make better quality stuff & usually offer better support.

Hey Snverhallen,

Which monitor did you buy and are you satisfied with your choice? I'm looking at the same monitors, and also for a PS3 slim. Therefore I want it for the same reason as you do.

Thanks.

Greetings,
Duck
