Acer Aspire 5741A 320GB mouse (pad) problems

Bought this laptop for my daughter 2 weeks ago and she is complaining that the mouse sticks periodically and the only way to start it working is to wait for it to go into sleep mode and then re-open it. Spoke to Argos who we bought it from and they are unaware of any problems.

Can anyone suggest a solution or a website for acer to ask them the question please.

i just got one from argos its a recon unit also having trouble with the pad although my issue is the left button is working as the right?
