Its a low price but I have seen better specs on a netbook.
I would favour this acer instead bigger HDD more RAM and an ATI card rather than intels GMA's, 3USB ports.
Its not going to play many games and will struggle with high performance tasks but it will perform substantially better than the 5732Z.

Hi, I'm giving my uncle advice on what laptop to buy his son, the one listed above is a serious contender for his £350 budget.

He would be using it for Word etc.., internet browsing (Youtube, and flash games etc..) he also plays ROBLOX and sims 3.

So would this be suitable? Are there any others for the £350 mark that maybe more suitable?

EDIT Or perhaps this one maybe http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/acer-aspire-5334-06539205-pdt.html

Thanks in advance :smashin:

Right I have delved a little deeper, and unless someone provides an alternative, I'm putting to him the option of either of the following:

HP G56-108SA
Processor - Intel® Celeron® Processor 900
- 2.2 GHz
- 800 MHz FSB
- 1MB L2 Cache

RAM - 3 GB RAM
- DDR2

Graphics card - Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 4500M
- Up to 1309 MB total available shared memory

or

HP G56-107SA

Processor - Intel® Celeron® Processor T3500
- 2.1 GHz
- 800 MHz FSB
- 1MB L2 Cache

RAM - 3GB RAM
- DDR2
- Up to 8GB DDR2 maximum memory

Graphics card -Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 4500M
- up to 1309 MB total available shared memory

or

Acer Aspire 5732Z

Processor - Intel Pentium dual core T4400.
-2.2GH
-1MB cache.

RAM - 3GB RAM
-DDR2

Graphics card - Intel GMA with 64MB memory.

Screen sizes all equal, and connectivity all equal aswell.

Ultimately he will choose which one he thinks is best out of those, but if someone can tell me which, if any is better than the others that would be great.

Reminder that it must be able to play, to at least an acceptable level, Sims 3, which is probably the most intensive thing it will do.

Thanks in advance:smashin:
