Equally as important, what resolutions and refresh rates does it support?

For Europe HD support, 720p50 and 1080i50(25) are the important ones. Quite a few displays will only support 60Hz which is not much use unless you want to watch NTSC material or can frame rate convert without introducing judder.

    Errrr.

    Clear as mud then!

Speak to Acer UK and they will confirm to you that the DVI port is HDCP compliant and the TV is capable of displaying both 720p and 1080i signals. So yes, this product is HDTV-ready.
