Looking for a wee bit of advice chaps and chapesses:
Recently been getting a bit of grief from my PS3 (file system is corrupt and will be restored... constantly!) so the other week there I restored it to factory settings through the startup menu and re-activated my PSN account once it was done. Now, it's started playing up again so I'm planning to completely reformat the HDD using my desktop and then put it back in to see if it solves the problem. The issue I have is that I'm not sure if I'm eating into the amount of times that I can activate my PSN account - I know you can activate it 5 times, but I kinda assumed that meant on different consoles - what about activating it on the same console after a reformat?
(Didn't really look into this until after I'd done the first factory restore, so I've never actually DEactivated my account on the PS3).
Any advice would be appreciated
