Accessing External Drive on a Mac from Windows.

Somebody may have come across this one hopefully.

I'm copying files without a hitch from my Windows 7 based PC across the Network to the hard drive of my Mac Mini, just enabled sharing and boom, no issues.

What I want to do however is hook up a whopping big USB drive on the Mac Mini, so I guess it will be d: or however Macs do that.

Anybody got this setup?

Will I be able to see the external USB drive connected to the Mac from my Windows 7 machine?

A USB drive attached to a Mac just shows up as the name of the drive, so if you called it BIG DRIVE then you'll get a device in Finder called BIG DRIVE.
With the drive showing on the Mac go to the File Sharing entry in Sharing within System Prefs and add the USB drive to the Shared Folders. Just as you did with the Mac's local drive and then the PC should now see this drive too.
