I would like to use the USBUIRT instead of the supplied iMon. I’ve wired the power/reset, HDD busy & power light cables to the motherboard, but the LED’s are not lighting up. Is this because they need power from the iMon power cable? Is it possible for them to work without?

I wouldn't have though the LED's would require the extra cable, I'm building my PC tonight So I'll try it with and without the cable and see what happens.

Does the USBUIRT allow you to power up/down the PC I thought this was a special feature of the accent/imon PCB?

Did you have any problems fitting the PSU, read the review on HTPCnews but not quite sure what the reviewer was trying to get over about the PSU.

I'm leaving the system 24x7, so I'm not worried about this feature.

I fitted the SilenX 400W without any problems. The power cables come out from the bottom when it's fitted, so it's a bit tight.

Silly question, is the polarity of the cables correct?

Err..... yes it was! There weren't any instructions on how to put the case together - only the Imon, (my excuse anyway)

I put mine together backwards  and you're right, the only instructions come with the IMON and don't cover this. I'm assuming the PCB is a special one just for the HT-400. Just looking at the IMON for the first time this weekend, seems to be okay but buttons are limited.
