Wanted this for a while, got a new re mastered version, fantastic stuff, all killer no filler as sum 41 say. Had to download the tab from OLGA so I could have a good riff fest. I actualy met Brian Johnson a few times at me Aunties house when I was around 12 years old and he was singing in Geordie. Even had a signed photograph from Geordie before they launched their first and only? susessful single. Well thats my only claim to fame.

Still one of the greatest albums of all time, and not dated a day.

Your right it has'nt. Infact I had to recheck the date of its release as I was listening to it as the missus remembers us dancing to it at 'rock nights' and I was convinced it was'nt that old. Nineteen eighty, couldnt believe it 23 years old and would still give groups like the Datsuns a good kicking. Not PC at all though, totally sexist ah dont make them like that anymore, full throttle, no angst no concience rock.

    I think I'm in a minority here - I prefer the current line-up.

i preferred the original line up. bon scott had one of the true great rock and roll voices.
as for the albums, dirty deeds done dirt cheap is still one of my favourites.
and if you want blood.... has to be one of the best "live" albums ever recorded.

Don't get me wrong - I like AC/DC - but could it ever be classified as 'singing' ?

I don't remember anybody supporting them, but it was a few years ago and I've had mucho alcohol since then and I just can't remember.

At lest I remember some of the concert! I woke up one morning fully clothed and found a ticket stub for a Rainbow gig in my cut-off.

Can't remember a [email protected]@dy thing about it

Accadacca are clearly the finest band of all time. I play rythym guitar in a band that does nothing but cover early Bon Scott tracks and the crowds go absolutely mental. It's totally brilliant. Even kids who have never heard the stuff just love it, as long as you keep it tight like it's supposed to be.

We also have a following of older rockers who reckon you just can't hear that kind of rock'n'roll anymore.

Mind you, we did Shook me all night long the other night, our first venture into post Bon AC/DC and it went really well.

Anyone who hasn't got any AC/DC, get some now, preferably pre-1980 although Back in Black is a great Album too and probably most accesible of the lot.

I didnt buy any ACDAC once Bon Scott died, but was pleasantly suprised at BB. The early stuff was magic, but I have never owned an album only pirate tapes, which are now defunct as I dont have a tape deck. To be honest I thought I had grown out of them, but everytime I hear the d na na na na na na riff of whole Lotta Rosie off I go again, same with Rock and Roll by Zep.

    Gone all bleary eyed now:)

The bit in the middle of Have a Drink On Me building up to, then releasing with the "Gonna blow you down" lyric has to be just about the best instance of pure "jumping around, beer throwing, almost orgasm inducing:eek: " piece of rifforama in Rock'n'Roll history:D

Those few seconds can sum up the continued appeal of the mighty Deece:devil: and there are plenty more where that one came from:cool:

I had kind of forgotten about them recently. Loved the as a teen but thought I had kind of moved on. Thats was until recently when I realised that the majority of their stuff still sounded great:D
