Living so close to the Bull Ring in Birmingham meant I didn't have to do much thinking to find an entry for this month

Had taken something similar last year with my old Fuji P&S and went back to capture it again - tried to get a bit more 'up close and personal' with this one though. Hope you like it. :)

Slight crop, tweaked levels, re-sized, bordered and sharpened.

Very good, I like it a lot, I thought someone may do this (seem to remember someone doing it for Architecture last year).

That's a very good and seemingly organic take on this location, I wondered when it would make its first appearance in this comp.

Nice composition - good idea to get close to the foreground. Very dynamic.

To be honest i was not looking forward to another shot of this building, lovely as it is to photograph and tailor made for this months theme, i have seen it so many times.

But this close up shot is different and works very well, good thinking and i like it:smashin:

Thanks all for the comments - I'm glad its gone down well. I'm a bit disappointed with the shot as its displayed here as it seems to be a bit soft at the bottom. The original wasn't tack sharp but it was sharper than it looks now

I was in two minds whether to enter 'yet another Selfridges shot', but my lack of imagination meant it was the only thing I could think of. Hopefully I've made it a bit different from the usual suspects.
